Jay Kelly began his career in graphic design and quickly emerged as a notable fine artist with his style of creating life-like portraits and collages out of books, photos, and magazines, allowing the viewer to first see a complete, almost-photorealistic image from a distance which at a closer look unravels into individual textures and bits of text. While his method is complex, his goal is simple: emotion.

Jay Kelly was looking to reach a broad audience while still focusing on a targeted luxury audience. STPR was retained by Museum Works Gallery to introduce the artist to the media and to produce special events in conjunction with Los Angeles exhibitions.

Since then, he has grown into one of the most renowned collage artists with recent shows at SCOPE Miami, AAF London, Art Aspen, Art Market Hamptons, AAF Hong Kong, SCOPE NYC, and more.
